Frequently Asked Questions

How are your flowers delivered?
  • We send our flowers with Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 service.  Almost all of our orders arrive the following day after they are sent but as this is not a guaranteed next day service we do suggest allowing 1-2 days for the flowers to arrive.
Do I need to be home to sign for the flowers?
  • No.  The flowers do not need to be signed for.
  • The postman/woman will attempt to post the box through the letterbox (if you have selected a letterbox sized arrangement) or will knock at the door for larger boxes. In the event that there is no one at home they will try to leave the box in a safe place or with a neighbour.  In most areas the delivery person will be familiar with the area and will know where they can leave a parcel but you can also add further delivery instructions via the Tracking email that Royal Mail will send you once the flowers are on route.
Will my flowers be thirsty or droopy when they arrive?
  • Every care is taken to ensure that the flowers will arrive looking lovely but it is normal for stems to look slightly thirsty after an overnight journey and they will need to be unpacked and placed in water as soon as they arrive.
  • Where necessary, the flowers will be sent with a little water reserve to keep them hydrated on their journey. Please note, not all flowers need this and those with thick fleshy, or woody, stems are often sent ‘dry’ without this.
  • The flowers will be sent with full care instructions on a leaflet to advise the recipient how to look after them.
How do I track my flower delivery?
  • After the flowers have been collected Royal Mail will send multiple emails to keep you updated on their progress.  Please note, the time frame they suggest for the delivery is an estimation based on best case scenario and can fluctuate sightly as the flowers move through the Royal Mail network.
What happens if my delivery is delayed?
  • While Royal Mail Tracked 24 succeeds next-day over 95% of the time, rare operational delays can add 24 hours.
  • Our packaging protects the blooms for up to 48 hours. If your flowers arrive after 48 hours or you have any concerns about the flowers themselves please contact our customer service immediately at [email protected] or via telephone at 01209 831704 and we will be able to help.
How long will the flowers last?
  •  There are many variables that can affect how long the flowers will last but we would expect them to last at least 5-7 days for the shorter lived varieties.
  • We would always suggest avoiding placing flowers in direct sunlight or near a heat source – they will last longer in a cool room.
Can I amend or cancel my order?
  • If you need to make any changes or amendments to you order please contact us ASAP  via email at [email protected] or via telephone at 01209 831704.  We will do everything we can do help.
  • If you need to cancel an order please contact us ASAP.  If the flowers have not been sent we will be able to either alter or cancel and refund the order.
  • We cannot alter orders already with the courier so please be aware that changes cannot be made after 1pm on the chosen dispatch date.
  • At busy times (particularly Christmas and Mothers Day) please be aware that it may not be  possible to locate a box that has not already left us, as it will be within a large volume of prepared orders. If this is the case we may not be able to alter an order but we will try our best to help!
